The Governor signed SB 357 into law on Thursday, and it will be effective on July 1.  Our first GIA bill is now a law.

The motor vehicle restraint systems bill was passed by both chambers on Sunday, but I have not heard whether or not the Governor is expected to sign it.  I don’t know of any reason why he wouldn’t.
